Chapter 9. Oral Bacterial Infections: Actinomycosis, Tuberculosis, Syphilis

Infectious inflammatory diseases, in the etiology of which a certain causative agent plays a leading role, are called specific. These agents include actinomyces, mycobacterium tuberculosis, spirochete pallidum, chlamydia, etc. In the ICD-10 they are classified as Infectious diseases. Usually, these diseases are distinguished by a distinctive clinical picture.
